Terms and Conditions for Reflexology & Breathwork sessions by Andrea Smethurst + Bank transfer details at the end of document. 

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), which demonstrates completion of a nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology. I have the support from the AoR and have been qualified to Level 3 standard since 2003. 

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Breathwork Coaching from Bedford School of Complimentary Therapies which is an CPCAB trauma-sensitive accredited course.

  • I maintain full insurance for medical malpractice and professional indemnity requirements. The industry standard is in excess of £5 million cover. 
  • I comply with the full AoR requirements for Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures practice knowledge is of a high standard and up to date. 
  • I am compliant with GDPR data protection: please see the separate Privacy policy. Your information will always remain confidential. 

 

As an AoR member: 

  • I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.  
  • I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to always ensure client safety.  
  • As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with AOR status, I will provide appropriate bespoke treatment and support. 

     

    1. Appointments for both services:
    • When making an appointment you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. 
    • When making the appointment you agree to a consultation with Andrea Smethurst and to disclose relevant medical and lifestyle information to the services to be given. This is important as not doing so could potentially impact your physical or emotional response to the treatment(s)
    • 2. Fees  

    Treatment fees are to be paid in full before or during the time of the treatment. 

    • Payment is by Bank transfer (or cash should this not be possible).

    Reflexology:

    -Treatment session #1: £55- approx 75+ minutes.  

    -This will include time to complete and discuss the consultation form to understand the current state of health, lifestyle and any specific needs for Reflexology. This is imperative prior to the treatment and for creating a treatment plan.  

    -Session 1 will also include a 50minutes Reflexology treatment and aftercare advice.  

    -Treatment session #2 +: £50 per 50minutes treatment + aftercare advice.  

    • I reserve the right to apply the discretionary use of discounts to the cost of treatments. Please inform Andrea Smethurst should there be financial challenges to continuing with a treatment plan and a discount may be offered. 

     

    121 Breathwork Coaching charges:

    -All online (Zoom) treatment sessions: £55/ 50mins or  £40/ 30mins (*timings dependant on requirements)

    -Stamford therapy room sessions: £65/ 50mins or £40/ 30mins

    -Home visits (< approx 12miles of Stamford): £65/ 50mins or £45/ 30mins

     

    1. Cancellation Policy 
    • Where feasible, there is a minimum of 24hr cancellation policy for treatments. Please advise of cancellations at the earliest possible time to allow rebooking of the time slot to another client and to prevent unnecessary travel to your home. I will also apply these high standards and will contact you promptly should I be unable to provide a treatment. 
    • If you demonstrate any health conditions or symptoms which could be a health contraindication, to a safe treatment, I reserve the right to postpone the treatment until medical advice is sought.  
    • Please always advise of any new health symptoms or infections at the earliest possible time to prevent unnecessary travel to your home and disappointment. Contact by telephone is advisable to discuss whether it is safe to continue with an agreed treatment visit. 
    • If you have a cough, a fever or loss of taste and smell or have been in touch with anyone with these symptoms please contact me as we may need to postpone your appointment. 

     

    4. Treatment packages 

    • Treatment packages may be available to book treatments in advance to obtain a reduced rate per treatment. Treatments within a package are offered at a reduced rate as they are paid for in advance - Please ask for current details. 
    • These treatments can be booked during normal working hours with no restrictions.  
    • Discretion will be applied; however, ordinarily these treatments are non-refundable. 
    • These treatments must be used within 1 year from the date of purchase. 

     

    5. Vouchers 

    • An option is available to buy vouchers for treatments. These may be given as gifts and are to be used within 1 year of purchase. 
    • The full price of the treatment is to be paid for when the voucher is obtained. 
    • These vouchers can be booked during normal working hours with no restrictions.  
    • Where an appointment is booked and missed the cancellation policy will apply. 
    • These vouchers are non-refundable.  

     

    6. Use of background music

    • Only Royalty free music is used within the business and therefore I am not required to have The Music License. Unless you are in your own home, I am unable to play your preferred music selection due to UK laws. 

     

    7. The use of face coverings 

    • Discretion will be used regarding the wearing of face coverings.  
    • Treatments can be provided without face coverings but will be used should there be health implications or the on request by the client. 
    • It is not possible for clients to receive Breathwork coaching with face coverings.
       
    1. Special Treatment Licence
    • I can confirm that I do not require an additional special treatment license to provide Reflexology treatments within the Stamford area.
    • 9. Code of conduct:
    • Polite, respectful language and appropriate behaviour will be always expected of the client, or the treatment/treatment plan will be discontinued. 
    •  10. Payment

    Please aim to complete the bank transfer for each payment before or on the day of the treatment. If bank transfer is not possible, cash will be accepted.
